Our CPR and AED training provides hands-on instruction in life-saving techniques for adults, children, and infants. Participants will also learn how to confidently use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in emergency situations.
FFC will create custom Emergency and/or Safety Plans tailored to the unique safety and security needs of your faith-based organization.
Examples of areas included in the Emergency Plans may include: Crisis Response, Medical Emergencies, Active Threat, Hostile Visitor, Evacuation, Weather Emergencies, Bomb Threat, Missing/Lost Child, Building and Perimeter Security, Utility Emergencies, and more.
You will receive two spiral bound copies of your safety plan and a video to train you/your team on how to implement your brand new Safety Plan.
This involves an on-site visit to assess:

- Alarms and notification systems

Our training sessions are designed to equip your church with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively to emergencies — whether medical, behavioral, or security-related. Rooted in faith and built on proven strategies, each training is tailored for the unique needs of ministry environments.
Introduction to child safety, recognizing signs of abuse, prevention strategies, responding to concerns & reporting, and group discussion & scenarios.
Includes outlining the team's purpose, foundations of a team, situational awareness, response protocols, de-escalation, liability, and legal considerations
Includes basic situational awareness, child exploitation indicators, responding to an active shooter/violence, and basic conflict resolution.
Understanding conflict and behavior, the role of the safety team, basic de-escalation techniques, non-verbal communications, managing the environment, and when de-escalation fails.
Understanding of roles, key traits of an ideal team member, screening and selection, red flags/caution, team structure and expectations, training suggestions.
Intro to threat awareness, understanding threat types, situational awareness, behavioral indicators, case studies, communication, response, and exercises.
All of the basic class plus psychology of conflict, early warning signs of escalation, redirection and disengagement, and scenarios and role-playing.
Understanding mental health in the church, common signs and symptoms, Response do’s and don’ts, tools, tactics, and team roles, tabletop exercise.
Introduction to incident command basics, roles and responsibilities of the church, response flow and phases, and tabletop exercise.
Understanding bomb threats, receiving the bomb threat, immediate actions & notifications, evacuation procedures, and scenario practice.
Introduction to physical security, layers of physical security, identifying vulnerabilities, and practical security measures.
